Compression Garments

Body surgeries

Why would I need a compression insert after surgery?

Compression inserts are worn beneath the compression garment, in contact with the skin, providing gentle, uniform and continuous compression thus helping to keep the treated area flat. The inserts help to decrease dead space, and facilitate the retraction of the skin post detachment. The insert provides support to the surgical site and helps to avoid fluid retention, minimising the risk of haematomas, alleviating the bruising & optimising lymphatic drainage post procedure.

I'm having a tummy tuck, what garment do you recommend?

For a tummy tuck, we would recommend our Side Fastening Girdle. Due to the side fastenings, you will not have any interference with any scars or incisions.

I'm having a High-def. lipo on my tummy, what garment do you recommend?

For high-def. lipo on the abdomen area, we would recommend our Girdle with shorts. We recommend this garment, as it will completely cover the target abdominal area as it starts underneath the bra line and finishes at the knees. The Girdle with shorts has got an attachable strap to go over the shoulders in the unlikely case that the garment rolls down.

Do I need The Batman 4D sculpt?

We recommend the batman 4D sculpt for patients having VASER liposuction. The Batman vest is worn beneath the compression garment, in contact with the skin, providing gentle, uniform and continuous compression thus helping to keep the treated area flat.

The vest helps to decrease dead space, and facilitate the retraction of the skin post detachment.  It provides support to the surgical site and helps avoid fluid retention, minimising the risk of haematomas, alleviating the bruising & optimising lymphatic drainage post procedure.

I'm having lipo on my inner and outer thighs, what garment do you recommend?

For lipo to the inner and outer thighs, we would recommend our Sculpting shorts or Sculpting leggings. These garments will both provide the suitable compression for your legs.

I'm having a lipo on my higher back, what garment do you recommend?

For lipo to the higher back, we would recommend our Leotard. As this garment has sleeves, it will cover the higher back area without any chance of rubbing on incisions or scars.

How do I measure my head for the face lifter?

To measure your head for the face lifter, you will need to take the measurement from under your chin, over the top of the head. An easy diagram describing how to measure is on the face lifter page.

I want the 3 panel binder but the size M is out of stock. When are you getting new stock in?

New stock should take no longer than 10 working days to be available. However, if you need a binder urgently, you can order our size Large as it can be adjusted to the Medium size due to the velcro fastenings.

I'm having lipo on my upper arm and elbows, what garment do you recommend?

For arm and elbow lipo, I would recommend our Bingo Basher. This garment has a velcro fastening at the nape of the neck and therefore is very easily wearable and very discrete underneath clothing.

What does ‘open gusset’ mean?

Open gusset describes the garments which do not have a crotch. Therefore these garments are much comfier and more convenient to wear as you can wear your underwear over the top, meaning that you do not have to take off the garment to use the bathroom.

What is the difference between the 2003 & 2004 garments?

The only difference between the 2003 & 2004 is the placement of the hook and eye fastenings. The 2003 has the fastenings on the side which makes it a more suitable garment for patients having a caesarean or a tummy tuck as the eye hooks will not rub on any incisions. The 2004, like all of our other hook and eye garments, has the eye hooks positioned down the middle.
