Compression inserts are worn beneath the compression garment, in contact with the skin, providing gentle, uniform and continuous compression thus helping to keep the treated area flat. The inserts help to decrease dead space, and facilitate the retraction of the skin post detachment. The insert provides support to the surgical site and helps to avoid fluid retention, minimising the risk of haematomas, alleviating the bruising & optimising lymphatic drainage post procedure.
These inserts are also suitable for breast surgery, ideal to use for patients faced with discomfort after breast procedure.
It can be used to provide comfort under the bra, or under the breast band.
They are designed for multi use purposes but incredibly popular to place between the skin and the breast band, under the armpit to ensure a comfortable healing.
Here are some examples how memory foam inserts can be used for post breast surgery.
Patients wearing breast bands: They are ideally placed horizontally just under the breast band to prevent rubbing.
Patients with under bust discomfort: sensitive incisions or bloating: Place inserts just under the lower seam of the bra elastic for comfort especially if patients are bloated.
Patients with upper pole discomfort: Can also be used on the upper pole of the chest under the breast band to relieve pressure, particularly if implants are placed submuscular.
Patients with developed seromas: Place the insert over the seroma and the memory foam will seamlessly help to apply pressure underneath the bra.

If for any reason you wish to exchange or return your order, you may do so only if the following conditions are met:
Normally Exchanges/Refunds are processed the next working day after receipt. If your Exchange is urgent please specify on form and Customer Services will call you on receipt of goods.
When returning item(s), we strongly advise sending back Recorded Delivery to ensure tracking. Use the cheapest traceable service at your local Post Office.

Refunds will cover the cost of the goods only; any delivery charges cannot be refunded. A confirmation from macom® will be sent as soon as the return/exchange has been processed.
macom® inserts are made of foam.
They are fully breathable, hypoallergenic and do not retain body heat.
All products should be washed by hand, at a maximum temperature of 30°C. They should be air dried.
Bleach and fabric conditioner should never be used on the products.
