This otoplasty headband has been designed by surgeons to provide the right support during recovery. macom® post surgical head and ear band includes specific features to make it easy to use, namely:
- An adjustable velcro fastening at the top of the head
Uses for an otoplasty headband:
- Post ear correction surgery
- Recommended to use after otoplasty (ear plastic surgery) or pinnaplasty (ear pinning cosmetic surgery)
Otoplasty Headband FAQs
How long should I wear it for? Your surgeon will advise you on how long exactly your recovery will take. Usually, you should wear your otoplasty headband for a full week post surgery, then you may be able to start taking it on and off.
How tight should it be? Use our size guide to find your perfect fit.
Try product upon immediately on receipt and prior to surgery.
It is recommended to order more than one garment: one on, one off.

Care Instructions
macom® garments are made of 90.4% Polyamide and 9.6% Elastane.
All products are 100% latex free.
They are fully breathable, hypoallergenic, and do not retain body heat.
All macom® products should be washed by hand, at a maximum temperature of 30°C. They should be air dried.
Bleach and fabric conditioner should never be used on the products.
Do not tumble dry, iron or dry clean the garments as this may lead to permanent alteration of their shape and a loss of elasticity.
Do not remove stains with solvents.
