macom® I-BRA

The Best Breast Augmentation Bra For Post Implant Surgery

The i-Bra is our most supportive post-surgical compression bra. Our breast augmentation bra is designed to support healing, reduce swelling, stabalise breast implants and prevent rotation of anatomical or large implants. This augmentation bra is adjustable with outward facing seams and has no underwiring for best fit and comfort. The i-Bra uses medical-grade fabric and provides the necessary compression to aid recovery after breast augmentation surgery.

Breast Surgeries Supported By The i-Bra

The i-Bra is primarily a breast augmentation bra, providing compression and support during the first stage of recovery from breast implant surgery. It is suitable for everyday use.

We recommend the i-Bra for the following procedures:

  • Breast augmentation
  • Fat transfer to breast
  • Breast implant surgery

In some cases the i-Bra might not be suitable for mastopexy (breast uplift) because of the double layered design, please check the Signature Bra for this procedure.

Features Of The i-Bra

The i-Bra is designed to support implants under the muscle and to prevent rotation of anatomical or large implants. It also ensures compression around the back to help minimise swelling and stabilise implants.

Our breast augmentation bra has a number of features that make it the ideal recovery bra post surgery, including:

  • Front closures – for easy access during recovery
  • No underwiring – to prevent rubbing on incisions or painful pressure
  • Outward facing seams – to prevent rubbing against incisions
  • Breathable, medical-grade fabric – for superior comfort and healing
  • Fully expandable cups – for full coverage that will expand and mould to your new cup size
  • Adjustable straps – so you can adjust for swelling as you recover

Post Surgery Bra Sizes

All macom® post surgery bras sizes are based on the band size. As macom® bras sit lower on the rib cage than everyday bras, your band measurement may differ from your usual high-street bra size, although for some cases it will be the same.

Start by measuring yourself under the bust (in inches). Add 2 inches to the total and that will be your size for post surgery bras. For example, if you measure 33.5 inches, add 2 inches to make 35.5 and then round up to 36. Your size is Large in macom® bras.

Our sizes are listed from X-Small to XX-Large and are measured in inches:

  • X-Small (28–30)
  • Small (32)
  • Medium (34)
  • Large (36)
  • X-Large (38)
  • XX-Large (40)

If you need a Plus Size Bra, click here. macom® bras have expandable cups that fit A to GG – except our X-Small bras which are expandable up to F.

Use our Size Guide to check you are choosing the right size. Check out our bra fitting video to find out how the bra should fit before and after your breast surgery.

USE AND CARE ADVICE FOR MACOM® BRA

We recommend ordering more than one post surgery compression bra. It is important to wash your i-Bra regularly during recovery and having at least two will mean you can keep wearing one while the other is being washed.
